Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with demonstrable expertise in end-to-end regulatory reporting transformation initiatives within Tier-1 Financial Institutions, specifically across cross-jurisdictional frameworks such as MAS 610 / 1003 (Singapore), HKMA (Hong Kong), BOT (Thailand), and equivalent global central bank mandates. The candidate must have hands-on delivery experience using at least two enterprise-grade reporting platforms (e.g., Wolters Kluwer OneSumX, Axiom ControllerView, Moody’s RiskAuthority, Lombard Risk AgileReporter, Vermeg, Bloomberg regulatory modules), with the ability to assess, configure, and reconcile outputs at a granular level.
Key Requirements (must-have and preferred combined) :
- Mandatory proficiency in authoring detailed data lineage, mapping specifications, and reconciliation frameworks across multiple source systems and staging layers, with traceability down to attribute-level governance.
- Proven knowledge in balance sheet, liquidity, and capital adequacy reporting principles, with additional exposure to treasury product control, risk-weighted asset computation, and management accounting data models .
- Advanced competency in MS SQL development (including optimization of highly complex, multi-join queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuning for large-volume regulatory datasets).
- Prior involvement in data warehouse modernization projects , including ETL pipeline validation, schema harmonization, and historical backfill testing.
- Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies in both agile and waterfall delivery models, including preparation of Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Non-Functional Specifications (NFS), data dictionaries, and compliance sign-off packs .
- Preferred certifications : CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent (candidates with dual or multiple certifications will be prioritized).
- Experience coordinating multi-region stakeholder workshops , reconciling divergent business requirements, and driving consensus on design scope across global teams.
- Demonstrated capability in leading System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, including test strategy formulation, defect triage, and audit trail documentation aligned to project lifecycle governance frameworks .
- Ability to conduct peer reviews of functional and technical specifications , proactively identify potential design deviations, and articulate remediation strategies prior to production deployment.
- Experience preparing regulatory submission validation packs , ensuring output consistency between upstream sources, staging areas, and final regulator-facing templates.
Additional Considerations :
