Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Trade physical and / or paper oil products (e.g., petrochemical, fuel oil) in international markets.
- Analyze global supply-demand fundamentals, pricing trends, geopolitical developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting the oil markets.
- Execute trades and manage positions within defined risk parameters and compliance guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, brokers, and shipping partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of delivery in collaboration with legal and logistics teams.
- Monitor and manage logistical operations, including freight, storage, blending, and inventory.
- Collaborate with internal teams (risk, finance, operations) to ensure accurate reporting and settlement.
- Proactively identify market opportunities and develop trading strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated with relevant market data, publications, news, and analytics tools (e.g., Platts, Argus, Bloomberg).
Qualifications & Skills :
At least 5-8 years of experience trading petrochemical or fuel oil products, preferably with an oil major or NOC.Strong understanding of global oil markets, trading instruments (futures, options, swaps), and risk management.Proven track record of profitable trading performance.Please state your availability, current and expected salary in the resume.
