Roles & Responsibilities

Position Summary :

A Tile Setter is responsible for installing tiles on floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring proper alignment, cutting, and finishing to achieve durable and aesthetically pleasing results.

Key Responsibilities :

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following design plans or layout instructions.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesive materials.
• Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and edges using hand tools or power tools.
• Install tiles in the correct pattern and alignment, ensuring even spacing and secure placement.
• Apply grout and sealants between tiles, finishing surfaces to a high standard.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, durability, and quality.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Follow workplace safety standards and building codes.
