Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Install new systems, machinery, or equipment at client sites, ensuring all components are set up according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Perform on-site commissioning to ensure systems are operating correctly, testing functionality, and providing training to customers on proper usage.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, systems, and machinery to extend operational life and reduce downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical failures to identify the root cause and provide effective solutions.
- Repair and replace faulty components, parts, and equipment to ensure systems are restored to peak performance.
- Provide on-site or remote technical support to customers experiencing issues with their equipment, offering clear instructions and guidance.
- Document all service-related activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used, into the company's service management system.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or technical experts for more in-depth investigation.
- Act as a key liaison between the customer and the company, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely, high-quality service.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships and ensure repeat business.
- Monitor inventory levels of parts, tools, and consumables required for service jobs, ensuring timely reordering and availability.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of tools and equipment to maintain their integrity and readiness for future tasks.
- Create detailed service reports documenting the service work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, parts replaced, and any customer feedback or recommendations.
- Ensure all work complies with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as company standards.
Pre-Requisites (Qualifications & Experience)
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Biomedical or Electronics & Computer EngineeringKnowledge in Information Technology and / or a wide range of medical product2 – 3 years of field experience in the medical industry would be an advantageAble to travel as and when requiredAble to perform shift and standby dutiesGood organizational and problem solving skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsMeticulous and detailed-orientatedSelf-started and able to multitaskCritical thinkerWilling to learn clinical knowledgeProficient in MS Office Application (Word, Power Point, Excel)Good Technical KnowledgeTell employers what skills you have
