Head of Distribution (Retail / Pharmaceutical)

Roles & Responsibilities

The client of our is a Multinational Conglomerate with presence across APAC, EMEA and USA. They are currently expanding their operations in Singapore and is looking for an experienced Head of Distribution. You'll be responsible to design, launch, and scale the organization Logistics business in Singapore. Direct ownership of strategy, operations, and commercial growth across warehousing, omnichannel fulfillment, and last-mile logistics with P&L accountability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Business Build & P&L : Author the business plan; deliver revenue, margin, and cash objectives; establish client pricing models and SLAs.
• Network & Facility Readiness : Stand up initial site(s); define slotting, MHE, SOPs, and safety processes; implement scalable labor models.
• Omnichannel Operations : Launch B2B / B2C fulfillment, store replenishment, returns, and value-added services (kitting, personalization).
• Technology : Implement WMS / TMS, OMS integrations, dashboards, and automation where ROI-positive.
• Resource Orchestration : Coordinate with Fleet to optimize transport; partner with HR on recruitment and rostering; align with Finance on controls and pricing.
• Commercial : Land anchor retail / e-commerce logos; build pipeline; negotiate MSAs; deliver high NPS.
• Continuous Improvement : Lean / Kaizen cadence to reduce cost-to-serve and elevate SLA performance.
• Risk & Compliance : Workplace safety, security, and regulatory adherence; business continuity planning.
