Roles & Responsibilities
Role Purpose
Responsible for being a bridge between product development team, stakeholders (internal and / or external) and data platform development team to ensure the data platform meets the business needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather and document requirements by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Capture and measure the real value of data platform deliveries, assessing their impact on business outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain the data platform vision, roadmap, and backlog, prioritizing product items as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional data teams, including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective data governance and platform optimization.
- Ensure data platform deliveries meet or exceed expectation and drive high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
- Own the release management process for the data platform, ensuring CAB governance while maintaining Agile delivery cadence and operational stability.
Secondary / Shared Accountabilities
Identify automation opportunities and manage departmental automation processes.Ensure adequate documentation is available.Advocate for data-driven decision-making across the organizationCarry out any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Data.Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree of Statistics, Engineering, Administration, Mathematics, Accounting or Computer Science is expected.Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related field.Solid experience with data related technologies.Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions, identify trends, and drive product improvements.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Negotiation / mediation skills.Experience working with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Tell employers what skills you have
