Junior Legal Counsel, Financing

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a Singapore Headquartered

organization that is looking to hire a junior legal counsel for

their finance legal team. This is an exciting role for a junior

counsel with transactional experience to transit into a cohesive

and nuturing inhouse legal

team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be reviewing, drafting,

and negotiating a range of finance documents, including term

sheets, loan and security agreements, swap documentation, and

corporate authorities. You will assist with new financing

arrangements, and loan drawdowns.

The position

also requires close collaboration with internal departments on

documentation, insurance, compliance, and corporate secretarial

matters, including preparation of know-your-customer (KYC)

materials. You will liaise with external stakeholders such as law

firms, bankers, ship registries, and other third parties, while

maintaining and updating legal files. Strong transaction management

skills are essential, as the role includes tracking conditions

precedent, managing approvals and payments, and monitoring key

deadlines and

milestones.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you

should be a qualified lawyer ideally with mininium 2 years PQE .

You should ideally have some prior experience in financing

experience but not necessary, prior transaction management

experience will also be helpful for this role. You should also

ideally enjoy working in a fast-paced

environment.
