We
are seeking a Junior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team for
an international law firm. The role will cover work-in-progress
(WIP) management, trust account administration, internal audit
support, billings, and accounts payable. This position is
well-suited for an individual with strong attention to detail and a
desire to broaden their accounting experience in a supportive,
international
environment.
Key
Responsibilities
Assist with WIP (Work-in-Progress) management, ensuring
accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
Handle trust account administration and reconciliations,
ensuring compliance with company and regulatory
requirements.
Support internal audit checks
and help maintain robust financial controls.
Review and verify billing entries prepared by the
administrative team.
Process accounts payable
transactions, including invoice checks, payments, and vendor
reconciliations.
Contribute to month-end
closing and other finance projects as required.
Assist in cash management activities, such as monitoring
multi-currency accounts, preparing payment requests, and processing
payroll / vendor payments.
Support the
preparation of management reports, monthly closing, budgets, and
financial forecasts.
Liaise with internal
stakeholders (operations, legal, and business teams) to ensure
alignment of financial processes with commercial
activities.
Support audit, tax, and compliance
reporting in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
(SFRS) and regulatory requirements.
Participate in finance projects and process improvements
to enhance efficiency and
accuracy.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
field.
