renowned legacy as a powerhouse in shipbroking. The company has 14
offices in six continents, supported by over 2,100 employees. They
are synonymous with market intelligence and facilitates some of the
most significant global transactions in commodities and freight.
They are currently seeking a Dry Cargo Shipbroker
(Handy) in
Singapore.
Responsibilities :
Drive revenue growth and strategically expand the client
base through proactive business development initiatives and
cultivation of strong and lasting relationships across
international markets.
Promote handy-size
tonnage to clients, shippers, and charterers, while offering
forward market insights to aid in strategic positioning
Negotiate spot and time charters, encompassing both
physical and FFA-linked deals, securing highest returns for
owners.
Analyze market trends, FFA curves,
time-charter equivalents, vessel supply-demand dynamics, and
macroeconomic indicators to inform trade strategy and client
advice.
Establish, negotiate, and finalize
agreements from the initial proposal to post-fixture follow-up,
ensuring precision and commercial
viability.

Requirements :
1 -
3 years of relevant experience in Handy market
Proven ability to pair market analytics with commercial
negotiation
Proficient in MS Office, Python,
R, Power BI, and other analytical tools
Fluency in English and native Chinese to communicate and
engage with Chinese stakeholders
Willing to
travel and attend client events
