Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic Supplier Management : Developing sourcing strategies, finding and vetting new suppliers, managing relationships, and ensuring all suppliers comply with all required standards. .
- End-to-End Order Fulfillment : Overseeing the complete procurement cycle from forecasting and creating purchase orders to coordinating logistics and ensuring on-time delivery of goods.
- Logistics and Compliance : Overseeing all import / export documentation, customs declarations, and record-keeping, while also resolving any shipment errors or discrepancies.
- Commercial & Quality Control : Leading price and contract negotiations, managing supplier rebates, and acting as the first point of contact for resolving quality or logistics complaints.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Working closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align on business goals and driving process improvements through the use of digital tools.
Requirements
A proven background in procurement or supply chain, preferably within the food / FMCG sector, including hands-on experience with international logistics and customs documentation.Strong knowledge of food safety system , proficiency in ERP systems, and familiarity with Halal certification processes.Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.A results-driven, detail-oriented mindset with a history of high performance and strong problem-solving abilities.A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field like Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Engineering or Business.Tell employers what skills you have
