Job Summary :
The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily on-site coordination, supervision, and management of construction activities. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Supervision & Coordination : Supervise all construction activities to ensure adherence to timelines, technical specifications, and quality standards. Attend meetings with main contractors and clients.
- Team & Subcontractor Management : Lead, motivate, and manage general workers and foreign workers. Conduct site meetings and liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting : Monitor site progress, subcontractor performance, and report updates to the Project Manager. Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and expenses.
- Operational Support : Assist in project planning, scheduling, and procurement of materials. Support contractors and engineers in interpreting technical drawings.
- Safety & Compliance Enforcement : Educate workers on safety procedures, ensure strict adherence to safety standards and local regulations. Report incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Site Administration : Ensure proper site housekeeping and equipment maintenance. Respond to emergency call-ups as required.
Requirements :
Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of site supervision or project coordination experience.Strong knowledge of construction processes, technical drawings, and industry standards.Familiar with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality requirements.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and a valid WSQ Safety Supervisor certification are advantageous.Tell employers what skills you have
