Job Summary
The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supporting the upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of the building infrastructure. This includes daily monitoring routines, scheduled preventive maintenance, supervision of vendors, and attending to ad-hoc technical issues. The role ensures that safety, compliance, and operational standards are
upheld.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Routine Tasks
- Record power and water meter consumption for utility tracking.
- Conduct inspections of facility equipment including water tanks, heaters, hydro pumps, etc.
- Provide temporary security coverage at FCC during designated lunch hours.
Weekly Routine Tasks
Operate and monitor hydro-pool heat pump systems (on / off schedules).Inspect and clear rooftop drainage of leaves and debris to prevent blockages.Monthly Routine Tasks
Submit monthly breakdown and status report.Updating of PPM Spreadsheet & filing of PPM Service reports for MOH Audit.Tabulation of Monthly Utility Consumption data for submissionSupport to Fire Safety Manager
Assist in scheduled emergency response drill and table-top exercises.Assist to prepare all materials and tools required for fire-fighting training.Inspection of fire extinguishers.Preventive / Corrective Maintenance
Schedule, coordinate and supervise service providers for weekly, monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance.Liaise with contractors for unplanned maintenance or emergency rectifications.Follow up on all corrective maintenance and supervise works on-site.Perform in-house maintenance on beds, trolleys, commodes etc.Ad-hoc Repairs & Support
Attend to facility-related repair works, e.g., plumbing issues, minor electrical faults, household appliances malfunction, ironmongery works and minor building works including carpentry, tiling, painting etc.Handling bulky items upon request.Perform follow-ups and verifications on job completion and quality of work.Purchase of spare parts / minor items to facilitate repair works.Assist in events preparation.Programming, checking and testing of new / existing security Access Cards.Project Management
Oversee building improvement projects to ensure proper housekeeping andmovement of contractors.
Monitor progress of building works and make recommendations to enhance safetyand mitigate risk.
Quality checks on workmanship of various trades.Supervision / Coordination
