Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Oversees and directs the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new or existing products and technologies.
• Establishes and / or implements business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of the production organization.
• Manages employees in various manufacturing or product assembly support departments.
• Works closely with quality groups to ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices guidelines.
• Prepares documentation, reports and standard operating procedures.
• May manage the new product introduction (NPI) process, including prototype build and ramping of the new product to volume production.
• Accountable for key metrics, which may include revenue, customer satisfaction and quality goals.
