Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

• Involve in the project or lead the project related with IT infrastructure and data centre whenever required
• Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system / storage equipment & setup
• Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers / VM
• Perform installation & configuration on storage (SAN and NAS)
• Plan for migration, document and execute the migration plan
• Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project.
• Conduct acceptance test with users and address the testing findings / issues
• Provide system architecture design and planning for new IT infrastructure deployments in both hosted and cloud environments
• Support maintenance team in difficult or chronic problems, escalate the issue to vendor, identifying the root cause and preventive measures
• Support presales team on infrastructure solutioning in bids
• Review the project change request and carry out the integration / implementation
• Work closely with Project Managers in planning the implementation tasks
• Support VAPT and SSAT requirements
• Develop As-built documentation for handover
