Project Summary
We are launching a digital transformation project to modernize our HR operations for contract staff deployed to leading banks in Singapore. The initiative will focus on automating repetitive HR processes such as timesheet and leave collection, payroll data entry, and invoicing, while integrating new platforms including an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRMS, and Payroll software.
The project also explores the use of automation tools (Zapier, Power Automate, UiPath), scripting (Python, SQL), and other emerging technologies to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and ensure compliance with Singapore’s MOM regulations. This is a hands-on, innovation-driven project designed to reimagine how HR operations can be smarter, faster, and more scalable.
About the Role
Are you an IT university student passionate about HR tech, automation, and programming ? We’re on the lookout for a HR Tech & Automation Intern who’s eager not only to implement tools but also to explore bold new ideas for transforming how HR operates.
This role is perfect if you enjoy experimenting with technology, coding up solutions, and finding creative ways to cut down manual work. You’ll help us reimagine HR processes by testing, building, and deploying automation that makes a real impact on efficiency and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Setup & Administration
Configure company email accounts (
@companydomain.com
) on Exchange Online.
Set up Outlook rules, shared mailboxes, and distribution lists.
Configure and manage SharePoint and OneDrive for secure file storage and team collaboration.
Implement Teams for scheduling, calls, and collaboration.
Apply user permissions, access rules, and basic security (MFA, conditional access).
Digitalization & Automation
Support integration of Applicant Tracking System (ATS), HRMS, Payroll, and Invoicing software into MS365 environment.
Automate repetitive HR tasks (timesheet and leave form collection, payroll data entry, reporting) using Power Automate, Zapier, or UiPath.
Develop simple scripts (Python, SQL) to improve data entry and reporting efficiency.
Business Context & Compliance
Understand HR business processes and MOM (Ministry of Manpower) regulatory requirements to ensure automations are compliant.
Collaborate with HR and Recruitment teams to design workflows that improve efficiency and user adoption.
Develop automation scripts to eliminate repetitive HR tasks such as :
Leave application form consolidation
Timesheet data processing
Payroll data validation and reporting
