Overview

We are seeking a true hybrid : someone who can engage clients, articulate value, win projects and then get their hands dirty delivering them. This role combines the best of consulting (client insight, business development) and product / delivery (fintech builds, automation, platform rollout). You'll work with senior stakeholders to define transformation programmes and then drive them to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Business Development

Lead engagements with banks, fintechs and asset managers to identify and define digital transformation opportunities (digital banking, SME finance, embedded finance, data & AI).

Drive proposal development, client presentations and proof‐of‐concept discussions.

Translate business challenges into specific digital / product solutions and collaborate internally to structure go‐to‐market plans.

Delivery & Execution

Design and implement fintech / digital solutions : e.g., process automation, digital onboarding, API ecosystems, SME / wealth platforms.

Work hands‐on with internal and client teams (engineering, product, operations) to build, test and roll out solutions.

Lead workshops, agile sprints, build minimum viable products and measure value (ROI, metrics, adoption).

Own delivery end‐to‐end, ensuring that what is sold is what gets built and deployed.

Partner with senior consulting leads to shape our fintech consulting offering and client pipeline.

Mentor and collaborate with junior team members to ensure delivery discipline, client centricity and business growth.

Help refine Synthesis's market narrative in fintech / digital banking and set us apart as "builders who sell and deliver".

Ideal Profile

5-8 years' experience in consulting, fintech or digital transformation within financial services.

Demonstrated experience in both business development (client engagement, deal closing) and hands‐on delivery (product build, automation, platform implementation).

Comfortable engaging C‐suite and senior stakeholders AND working with product / design / engineering teams to get things done.

Strong understanding of fintech platforms, API ecosystems, embedded finance, SME / wealth solutions, and data / AI use‐cases.
