Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope

• Participate in selected in-service training programmes related to skills and knowledge upgrading.
• Personal Care : Assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Monitoring Health : Observing and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Notifying the nurse or doctor about any changes in the resident's condition.
• Supportive Tasks : Helping with mobility, transferring patients from bed to wheelchair, and providing comfort.
• Assisting with Therapy : Supporting residents during physical therapy or rehabilitation exercises.
• Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate patient records for care plans, daily observations, and activities.
• Maintaining Cleanliness : Ensuring the cleanliness of residents’ rooms, beds, and surroundings.
• Team Collaboration : Working closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.
