Roles & Responsibilities
Business Analysis :
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in trade finance products including LCs, Standby LCs, Bank Guarantees, Receivables Finance, Supply Chain Finance , and Documentary Collections .
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across business and technology teams.
- Translate complex business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications or user stories.
- Conduct gap analysis between current systems and business requirements.
- Work closely with development teams and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements.
- Conduct functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in Trade Finance domain within banking or financial services.Proven track record as a Functional Business Analyst on large-scale Trade Finance initiatives.In-depth functional knowledge of :
Letters of Credit (LCs) – Sight, Usance, SBLCs
Bank Guarantees – Financial and Performance
Receivables Finance / Factoring / Forfaiting
Supply Chain Finance / Payables Finance
Documentary Collections
Experience working with trade finance systems (e.g., Finastra, Surecomp, China Systems, Eximbills, TI Plus, or in-house platforms).Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging (MT7xx series) and ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, URC 522, ISP98, etc.).Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong documentation and presentation abilities.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.Tell employers what skills you have
