ALPS - a subsidiary of SingHealth, was set up in 2018 as part of Ministry of Health’s (MOH) strategic thrust in delivering value-based supply chain solutions to public healthcare.
As the public healthcare supply chain agency, we design and execute a national level end-to-end supply chain blueprint in partnership with 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHIs) in Singapore.

About The Role
The Secretary to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides high-level seamless coordination, confidential support, strategic alignment across internal and external engagements to ensure the CEO and Executive Office’s day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent organizational skills, exceptional discretion, a proactive mindset to anticipate needs, the ability to handle a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced environment. and enable the CEO to focus on strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the CEO’s calendar with precision, prioritizing strategic engagements and minimizing scheduling conflicts.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings such as board sessions, stakeholder briefings, high-level forums, company townhalls, and retreats.
- Organize and attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items. Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and partners to ensure timely responses and effective follow-ups.
- Support the CEO and C-Suite in preparing for key engagements by collating briefs, presentations, and stakeholder insights. Assist in tracking strategic initiatives, milestones, and follow-ups aligned with ALPS’s strategic agenda.
- Draft, proofread, and manage professional communications and correspondences on behalf of the CEO, tailored to diverse audiences including the board, government agencies, stakeholders, and staff. Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as required.
- Handle highly sensitive information with utmost discretion, including board, patient, legal, HR, and strategic documents. Maintain organized records and ensure secure document management.
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, events, and protocol arrangements.
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO, C-suite and staff to foster a culture of trust, clarity, and motivation. Support internal communications that reinforce ALPS’s mission, values, and strategic direction.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the CEO and Executive office.
- Attend to office housekeeping (i.e., environment cleanliness, upkeep and general conduciveness), the serviceability and maintenance of office equipment (e.g., telephones, photocopiers, computers, printers, projectors, etc.), and the procurement and adequacy of office and meeting supplies.
- Manage and coordinate the calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Support in claims and reimbursement administration (e.g., transport, medical, etc.)
