Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the Corporate Safety Manager in managing the corporate Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) management system.
- Serve as the designated Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) for HDB projects
- Implement and oversee the project-specific WSHE management system and programs in alignment with corporate procedures.
- Conduct daily inspection and take follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
- Conduct safety induction / tool-box meeting / training and emergency drills
- Develop safety & emergency response procedures and spearhead safety committee
- Conduct Risk assessment and implementation of SWP at workplace
- Ensure PTW supporting documents are valid and in place for operational performance
- To inspect and examine workplace records, certificates, notices and documents kept or required to be kept under the WSHA.
- Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control and 3-R programs to safeguard the environment
- Support company and project initiatives to achieve SHE-related awards and certifications.
- Coordinate emergency response actions during accidents or incidents.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations to identify causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
- Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication with employees on safety matters.
