Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and Company Safety Management System (SMS) in compliance with all relevant local laws and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments for workshops and worksites to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Ensure all employees are properly equipped with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and receive required safety training (e.g. forklift, overhead crane operation).
- Carry out regular inspections and audits on fire protection systems, machinery, and general workplace safety standards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents , identify root causes, and recommend or implement corrective and preventive actions. Prepare and submit incident reports to MOM, and handle all matters related to work injury cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, incidents, and training activities .
- Provide advice and guidance to management and staff on WSH matters, including compliance with ISO 45001 , BizSAFE , and risk management frameworks .
- Monitor and review new WSH regulations, industry trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement in workplace safety culture and performance.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health
Possess a valid registration with MOMFamiliar with ISO documentationMust possess professional knowledge in Law and regulations (WSH Act and Environment)Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industryAble to work independently with positive attitudePossess good leadership and organisation abilitiesGood communication and computer literateTell employers what skills you have
