Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope : Accounting Manager (Excluding Tax)
1. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and reporting of all financial transactions.
2. Accounts Management
Manage the full set of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cash flow, and fixed assets.Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.Monitor and control company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.3. Audit & Internal Control
Liaise with external auditors for year-end audits and provide necessary financial information.Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting best practices.4. Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.Monitor budget performance, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations to management.5. Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Allocate tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met.Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance team.6. Stakeholder Support
Work closely with management and other departments to provide financial advice and support.Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management review.Support business planning and provide input on financial implications of key decisions. 7. Systems & Process ImprovementOversee accounting systems and ensure proper maintenance and upgrades when necessary.Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.Ensure data integrity and proper integration between accounting systems and business operations.Tell employers what skills you have
