The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth
and securing new business opportunities for ICF Group across its
core markets - including cruise ship interior fit-out, offshore
accommodation modules, and hospitality refurbishments. This role
focuses on developing strategic relationships with shipowners, EPC
contractors, shipyards, hotel groups, and government agencies to
position ICF as the partner of choice for turnkey interior
solutions globally.
Key
Responsibilities : 1. Business
Development & Lead Generation :
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the
marine, offshore, and hospitality sectors.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects through
proactive outreach, networking, and collaboration with industry
stakeholders.
Participate in industry
exhibitions, trade missions, and client presentations to promote
ICF's capabilities.
2. Strategic
Account Management : Manage and grow
key client accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long
term partnerships.
Understand client
requirements and coordinate with internal teams (Design,
Estimation, Project, Procurement) to deliver tailored proposals and
solutions
3.Sales & Commercial
Execution :
Lead end-to-end sales
activities including RFQs, bid submissions, negotiation of terms,
and contract closure.
Collaborate closely with
the Estimation and Project teams to ensure cost-competitive,
technically sound proposals.
Maintain accurate
sales forecasts, reports, and market
intelligence.
4. Market Intelligence
& Positioning : Monitor industry
trends, competitor activity, and regional market developments to
inform strategic decisions.
Provide input to
marketing and corporate communications to align messaging and
branding with market needs.
5.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment :
Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, and
Operations to ensure alignment between client expectations and
project execution.
Assist Finance and Legal
teams with commercial contract terms, payment milestones, and risk
assessments.
Education
& Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime
Studies, Interior Architecture, or related fields
Minimum 5-8 years of proven sales experience, preferably
in marine, offshore, or construction industries
Prior experience working with shipowners, EPCs, or
shipyards is a strong advantage
