We are seeking a Deputy Manager, Fleet Category & Contract to join a leading shipping company in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in procurement strategy, supplier management, and contract negotiations, supporting the company’s growing fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for shipbuilding, marine equipment, and technical services.
• Lead procurement planning and execution for new builds, conversions, and dry dock projects.
• Manage sourcing and contract negotiations for fleet operations, including spares, consumables, and services.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Collaborate with technical, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with project and operational needs.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovations.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, maritime regulations, and risk management frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.
