Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full quantity surveying lifecycle, from tendering and pre-contract stages through to post-contract administration. Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities :
- Review tender documents and prepare complete and accurate tender submissions.
- Measure and take off quantities for MEP services across all project phases (tender, pre-contract, and post-contract).
- Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and budgetary studies.
- Assess variation orders and prepare interim valuations.
- Negotiate with and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation and management of contractual claims.
- Obtain, compile, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Perform thorough price comparisons and quotation evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on MEP services.Proven experience in all aspects of the quantity surveying lifecycle.Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., estimating software, spreadsheets).Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Tell employers what skills you have
