Senior Account Executive (Shipping / Trading)

Job descriptionMaintain vessel-wise profitability reports and reconcile physical and derivative trades. Coordinate with trade finance teams on Letters of Credit and structured instruments. Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Manage tax assessments, audits, and financial enquiries from external stakeholders. Ensure accurate AR / AP reporting and compliance with internal programs. Holds a degree or diploma in Accounting and is professionally qualified (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA). Brings at least 4 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and taxation. Prior exposure to commodity trading or shipping environments is advantageous. Proficient in accounting systems such as XERO and comfortable working with financial data. Strong communication skills, with fluency in English to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders. Demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and sound judgment in a fast-paced setting. A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
