About the Role
As a Business Analyst focused on the Avaloq Banking Suite, you will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, proposing solutions, and supporting the implementation of Avaloq system enhancements across various banking domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements or changes in the Avaloq core banking platform
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and collaborate with developers for solution design and implementation
- Act as a bridge between business users, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct workshops, stakeholder interviews, and gap analyses to define solution scope
- Support testing activities, including reviewing test cases and validating deliverables against requirements
- Assist in change management and training activities related to Avaloq system updates
- Provide support for production issues by analyzing root causes and proposing sustainable solutions
- Ensure all documentation is maintained in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services, preferably with exposure to Avaloq Core Banking SystemUnderstanding of Avaloq modules, parameterization, or scripting is a strong advantageStrong knowledge of wealth management and retail banking products and processesExperience working in Agile / Scrum project environmentsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsEffective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiencesCompany Reg No. : 201131609D | License No. : 24S2411 | Reg No : R21102223 | Goh Choon Mui
