Roles & Responsibilities

Your role will include supporting and maintaining Linux platforms across Asia-Pacific, acting as the escalation point for incidents and guiding deployment of new services.

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux : installation, patching, upgrades, services (HTTP, NFS, LDAP, cron, etc.)
• Automate baseline installs and updates; manage services at boot-level, networking, users / groups, disk volumes (LVM, dm‑multipath), SELinux / PAM
• Monitor, tune, backup, and proactively fix performance issues
• Create and run Shell / perl / awk scripts for automation and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with peer teams and infrastructure stakeholders across business units
• Provide level‑3 support for major incidents, and participate in rollout of new services
• Level 3 certified ontology : RHCSA minimum; RHCE preferred
