Senior Chartering Manager (Supramax)

Salling Search is assisting an international shipping company

to look for a Senior Chartering Manager

(Supramax) based in their Singapore

office.

Key

responsibilities

Driving earnings on assigned tonnage through active

trading of cargoes and vessels

Building and

maintaining strong working relationships with brokers, owners,

customers, and internal teams

Developing

short-term trading strategies to maximise revenue

Collaborating closely with Operations to ensure voyage

optimisation and service delivery

Sharing

timely market intelligence to support informed trading

decisions

Exploring strategic trades to

support global expansion

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in dry bulk

Chartering (Supramax).

Strong familiarity with

the Pacific dry bulk markets

Proven track

record in trading cargoes and managing tonnage

Basic understanding of freight derivatives (FFA) and

hedging tools

Excellent interpersonal skills

and a strong commercial

mindset
