Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Projects & Process Improvement to drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service excellence within our warehousing and logistics operations. The incumbent will lead process improvement projects from end-to-end - strategy development and data analysis to stakeholder engagement and implementation. This role will focus on optimising warehouse workflows, automation, inventory management, and distribution practices, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. The Senior Executive will play a key role in fostering cross-functional collaboration, championing continuous improvement, and supporting the integration of advanced technologies to deliver cost savings and improved fulfilment performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategies : Lead projects aimed at warehouse process improvement, focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced order fulfilment service
- Project management : Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for process improvements, including resource planning, stakeholder engagement, and post-project evaluation
- Data analysis & reporting : Analyse supply chain workflows, identify bottlenecks, and generate reports on performance metrics for senior management
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective implementation of improvement initiatives
- Continuous improvement : Identify and execute opportunities for optimization in warehousing layout, workflow automation, distribution routes, and inventory management
- Compliance & risk management : Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards throughout project execution and process upgrades
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree / diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations ManagementCertifications in Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) will be advantageousAt least 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations and participating in process improvement or warehouse optimisation projects, ideally in Singapore’s logistics, e-commerce, or manufacturing sectorStrong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platformsExperience using data analytics tools for workflow optimisation and performance reporting will be advantageousFamiliarity with automation, robotics, and digital supply chain solutions will be advantageousKnowledge of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, fire safety, and NEA / MOM requirementsAwareness of customs, import / export compliance, and ISO quality standards relevant to warehousing and logistics operationsStrong project management and stakeholder engagement skillsAnalytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovationEffective communicator; able to work effectively in a diverse workforce and manage both operational team members and senior stakeholdersMarkono is committed to fostering and cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
