Roles & Responsibilities
We have partnered with a reputable shipyard and vessel management company with a strong presence in the offshore and marine industry. As the company continues to grow its fleet and operations, we are looking for an experienced Crewing Manager to support its crewing functions and ensure smooth day-to-day coordination of vessel personnel.
Main Responsibilities :
- Handle the hiring process for crew members on company-managed vessels. This includes preparing and issuing employment contracts.
- Make sure all crew members have the right certificates and experience before joining the vessel, based on company and flag state rules.
- Plan crew schedules, manage crew changes, and make sure all documents for joining and leaving the vessel are ready. Support crew welfare during their time onboard.
- Check and approve crew payroll and onboard cash (impress fund). Ensure all payments are made correctly when crew members leave the vessel.
- Keep track of available crew and future crew needs. Work with the Fleet Manager to plan ahead and solve any staffing issues.
- Keep accurate records of each crew member, including personal details, medical and training certificates, and work history. Make sure this information is always updated in the system.
Requirements :
Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies or a similar field.At least 5 years of experience in a crewing role, preferably in the Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) industry.Good communication skills and hands-on working attitudeConfident using Microsoft Word and Excel.Experience in planning and organizing crew schedules.Tell employers what skills you have
