Junior Associate

Prolegis and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer operate in a

Formal Law Alliance in Singapore. This gives our clients one-stop

access to the combined legal services of each firm - the Singapore

law expertise of Prolegis LLC and the international practice of

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer in Singapore and throughout our

global network in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa

and North America.

This is an exciting

opportunity for a junior Singapore-qualified disputes lawyer to

join the Alliance's award-winning Southeast Asia dispute resolution

practice. You will work as a junior member of Prolegis' litigation

team handling a large variety of contentious matters covering

commercial disputes, insolvency, regulatory matters and

investigations. You will act for, amongst others, State and

government linked entities, global MNCs, financial institutions and

various Singapore based corporations. You will also be closely

integrated alongside Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's Singapore

team of arbitration specialists and will have opportunities to work

with them on international matters too.

To be

successful in this role, you should have :

• Been called to the Singapore Bar;

0-2 post-qualification experience in commercial

litigation and contentious matters;

Exceptional communication and time management

skills;

Self-motivation and a willingness to

learn, work hard and enthusiasm to challenge yourself;

Sense of humour and readiness to work collaboratively in

a friendly but high-performing team;

Good

academic grades which also showcase the breadth of your interest in

contentious matters;

Second language will be

an advantage but not essential.
