Data Analyst, Strategy & Services

Contract Duration : 6 months (with possibility of 6-month extension, subject to performance and availability of position)

Work Location : Within walking distance of Jurong East MRT

Work Hours : Monday to Fridays, office hours

Background :

You will be part of a public sector organisation focused on strategic planning and service development to support long-term national initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and strategic planning. It is ideal for those looking to build a foundation in public sector planning or social policy work, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to service improvements that benefit the community.

Responsibilities :

• Liaise with internal teams to gather data sets and metadata (quantitative and qualitative) from various sources
• Conduct data cleaning and harmonisation to ensure consistency and accuracy of information
• Support data analysis through Excel and other tools to generate insights for planning and strategy development
• Develop basic dashboards and visualisations to communicate key findings
• Assist in drafting documentation and presentation materials for internal use
• Provide administrative and operational support to ongoing planning initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve the reliability and usability of data sources
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and project milestones
