Job descriptionMaintain model governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all models used within the APAC region. Ensure that the model lifecycle is implemented for all in-scope models. Facilitate communication between various departments regarding model usage and governance issues. Conduct model validation for in-scope models. Oversee data management processes to maintain data integrity, security, and availability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT to establish data standards and best practices across the APAC region. Monitor and report on data governance metrics and compliance adherence. Manage metadata repositories and data catalogs using technical knowledge of data flows. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Degree or equivalent with experience in Financial Institutions in Data Governance, Model Governance, and BCBS 239. Good project management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Team player with a strong sense of ownership of outcomes. Meticulous with an eye for detail. Fluent in written and spoken English. Able to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects.
