About the Role
In this opportunity as Sales Manager, Event Sponsorships, you will :
- Own and be accountable to achieve sales targets independently
- Identify prospects, have the confidence to cold call and communicate effectively on our value propositions clearly and concisely
- Identify customers’ pain points quickly and recommend suitable solutions to the customer to create a win-win situation
- Provide a high level of customer service, display an ability to build strong relationships and achieve a deep understanding of customers’ commercial objectives and motivations accurately
- Act as a team player who understands conference workflows, and strong interpersonal skills to work closely with various teams to deliver a strong customer experience
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecast; communicate clearly on pipeline progress, strategic territorial plans and account risks
- Identify market trends and patterns and to provide a quarterly report sharing these observations with the team
- Monitor the advertising and sponsorship of competitive publications and events
- Travel regionally for events when required
