Site Manager

- Monitor project progress and address any delays proactively.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to align with project goals.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities including material procurement, subcontractor management, and workforce allocation.
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and manpower for smooth progress.
- Manage site costs, track expenses, and optimise resource use to stay within budget.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, quality, and compliance with specifications.
- Plan and manage site facilities like access and storage areas.
- Ensure construction complies with design specs, contracts, building codes, and regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, welfare, and environmental laws.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the site team and subcontractors.
- Plan ahead to solve problems and resolve conflicts on site.
- Analyse and manage project risks.
- Implement process improvements when necessary.
Requirements :
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Science, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred for senior roles).5 to 10 years’ experience in construction site management or similar role.Experience managing various construction projects (residential, commercial, infrastructure, HDB, LTA, DSTA) preferred depending on company focus.Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate diverse teams and subcontractors.Take charge of construction projects—apply today!
