Your Role
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS
policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans in accordance
with local regulations and company standards.
Work closely with project teams, site personnel,
subcontractors, and authorities to ensure adherence to safety
protocols.
Conduct regular site inspections,
audits, and risk assessments; follow up on corrective and
preventive actions.
Participate in
incident / accident investigations, root cause analysis, and
preparation of reports with recommended actions.
Facilitate toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and EHS
training programs to raise awareness and promote safety
culture.
Ensure proper documentation and
maintenance of all EHS records, permits, licenses, and
certifications.
Monitor environmental aspects
and ensure compliance with waste management, pollution control, and
sustainability practices.
Support the Senior
EHS Manager in preparing monthly safety reports, KPI updates, and
management review materials.
Stay updated on
relevant EHS legislation, industry best practices, and regulatory
changes.
Foster a proactive safety mindset and
drive continuous improvement initiatives on
site.
The
Requirements
Degree
in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related
discipline.
Registered WSHO and ECO with at
least 5 years of EHS experience at managerial level with a main
construction firm preferred.
Familiar with
local EHS regulations, construction safety codes, and audit
requirements.
Strong communication,
interpersonal, and leadership skills to engage with various
stakeholders, project team and etc.
Proficient
in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting tools
Ability to multitask under pressure and respond
effectively during site emergencies.
Ability
to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking
associates will be added advantage
