Description :
Report directly to the
CEO.
Familiar with the Workplace Safety &
Health Act and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations and
policies.
Develop and drive the implementation
of workplace health and safety plans and programmes to continually
improve safety and health performance across all applicable
business activities of the organization.
Work
with operational teams to identify and assess any foreseeable risks
in all applicable business activities through a robust risk
assessment and management system.
Investigate
all incidents, advise corrective and preventive actions, and assist
in the generation of reports.
Develop and
drive health and safety audit and inspection systems across all
levels in the company.
Plan and provide
relevant safety training and guidance to promote health and safety
awareness and foster safe culture.
Act as the
MOM / NEA correspondent to ensure that safety / environmental
guidelines are adhered with the objective to attain zero-accident
rate
Leads safety committee and chairs safety
meetings.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate
documentation on all related matters to WSH.
Work closely with all departments in WSH-related
matters.
Communicate clearly and appropriately
with clients & business partners, always speaking with an
understanding of tone and choice of words.
Any
other adhoc tasks delegated by
management.
Requirements :
A recognized diploma course or
bachelors degree related to environmental and occupational health
and safety.
At least 2 years of experience in
Safety & Health as a Workplace Safety and Health
Officer
Experience working with MOH or other
relevant stakeholders in the healthcare industry would be good to
have.
Experience working with elderly in the
community would be good to have.
Hands-on and
enjoys community setting.
Able to work
independently with little supervision.
Highly
proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with IT.
Working on weekends maybe
required.
