JD for Floor Manager – Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays
Purpose of the Role
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing smooth on-ground operations during peak periods on weekends and public holidays. This role ensures a high standard of customer service, staff coordination, and prompt resolution of issues to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support frontline staff during operating hours.
- Monitor floor activity, customer flow and staff deployment to ensure efficiency.
- Handle and resolve customer queries, complaints, or service disruptions promptly.
- Ensure that operational procedures, safety protocols, and service standards are followed.
- Liaise with the back-office or management team for any urgent decisions or support needed.
- Brief staff at the start of each shift and ensure all are aware of promotions, special events, or updates.
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence to both staff and customers.
- Submit a brief end-of-day report highlighting key observations, issues and feedback.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a customer-facing supervisory or management roleStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to lead a team and manage unexpected issues calmly and efficiently.Service-oriented with good conflict-resolution abilities.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct.Desirable Attributes
