Job Description

Industry / Organization Type : Design and Manufacture of Parts and Tools
Position Title : Group Accountant
Working Location : Kaki Bukit
Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm
Salary Package : Basic Salary + AWS + Variable Bonus
Duration : Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Manage financial and administrative functions, emphasizing organized systems and audited processes.

Prepare company accounts, corporate tax returns, and review monthly financial accounting and management reports.

Prepare monthly consolidation reports, quarterly SGXnet reports, annual reports, and the annual consolidation budget.

Work with auditors and tax consultants on financial and tax reporting requirements.

Coordinate with the company secretary on compliance with the Companies Act and related government bodies.

Engage with bankers to manage required services and financing needs.

Conduct group internal audits, review, implement, and document accounting systems, procedures, and controls.

Participate in ISO projects, Enterprise Risk Management, Transfer Pricing, and Sustainability Reporting.

Assist in general administration functions, including human resources management.

Implement and enforce company policies related to ISO, Environment, Health & Safety, and maintain the Company Handbook.

Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.

Perform other tasks as directed by management.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is highly desirable.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a proven track record in financial reporting and consolidation.

Experience in liaising with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate tax regulations, and statutory compliance.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).

Advanced MS Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
