Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Marine Superintendent to join our technical / operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of the assigned vessels. This includes providing marine and navigational support to vessels and acting as a liaison between the ship and shore.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and ensure vessels operate in accordance with international and local maritime laws, ISM / ISPS Code, and company policies.
- Conduct navigational audits, safety inspections, and pre-vetting inspections.
- Assist with incident investigations and prepare reports.
- Support vessels in voyage planning, cargo operations, and navigational matters.
- Liaise with port authorities, flag states, classification societies, and other regulatory bodies.
- Participate in crew training and briefing sessions, including onboard visits.
- Ensure proper documentation and certification of vessels are maintained.
- Provide operational support during dry-docking or repair periods.
- Support in the implementation of safety and environmental policies.
Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Marine Superintendent or in a similar maritime shore-based role.Strong communication and leadership skills.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.Familiarity with Safety Management Systems and auditing.Tell employers what skills you have
