Key Responsibilities
Café Operations
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages and light snacks (no cooking, only use of microwave & oven).
- Uphold food hygiene and safety standards; maintain a clean and compliant work area.
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Manage café inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
Retail & Customer Service
Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for café and merchandise sales.Maintain attractive and organized merchandise displays.Deliver warm, professional customer service; assist with purchases and inquiries.Support basic stocktaking and inventory control for merchandise.Cleaning & Maintenance
Keep the café and retail area clean, tidy, and welcoming.Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including dishwashing and surface sanitisation.Requirements
Prior experience as a Barista.Comfortable handling both café and retail POS operations.Friendly, service-oriented, and able to work independently .Knowledge of basic food hygiene and safety practices.Must complete and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course (BFHC) as per SFA regulations.Please note that this is a 6-months contract role, renewable / extendable.Tell employers what skills you have
