Head of Technical Sales Role – Singapore
The role will be based in our Singapore office and will form part of our Asia based sales team, reporting to the Head of Asia.
Responsibility : To promote Utmost Wealth Solutions products and services to IFA firms in Singapore through the provision of technical focused support to explain and differentiate the company's offerings, with a focus on delivering increased sales and market share. Includes identifying and developing new IFA partnership opportunities with a strong focus on technical skills and knowledge, backed by demonstrated experience of insurance-based wealth solutions for international mobile HNW clients, especially UK related planning needs.
The role operates in a highly regulated market and requires a proven ability to influence and build strong relationships internally and externally.
Key Result Areas :
- Maximise external partner engagement through targeted training and presentations, including but not limited to UK focused financial planning solutions and the use of ‘portfolio bonds’
- Translate overall distribution strategy into targeted account plans with a focus on developing and executing opportunities to deliver high quality volume business and increasing market share
- Utilise personal network and apply market knowledge and commercial acumen to identify and engage high value prospects / new opportunities
- Build and maintain high value relationships with advisory firms in Singapore
- Identify, obtain and coordinate the support required to deliver agreed targets (resources, training etc.)
- Support and drive the delivery of an excellent customer experience
- Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable wealth solutions and supporting technical information
- Build and share knowledge around trends and developments in the Financial Services marketplace (e.g. regulation, legislation, product developments, competitor information)
- Develop and maintain financial planning technical knowledge through the achievement of relevant professional qualifications
- Ensure all delivery is consistent and compliant with relevant regulations
- Deliver services on a fair and commercially viable basis, containing costs in line with business requirements
- Demonstrate collaboration as part of Asia / Global sales team to maximise business opportunities for the Group
- Being a Brand ambassador, increasing awareness of Utmost, its strengths and overall value proposition
- Internal stakeholder engagement to drive collaboration and support for business channel
Person Specifications :
