WAITER SUPERVISOR

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily customer service operations.
• Prepare tables for service by clearing used items, cleaning, and setting up for guests.
• Welcome walk-in customers and escort them to their seats.
• Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and present menus with explanations.
• Serve food and drinks from the kitchen to customers.
• Train and supervise wait staff on service procedures, customer engagement, and menu knowledge.
• Monitor customer interactions, resolving conflicts or complaints as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and service standards.
• Schedule shifts for staff based on operational needs and manage payroll.
• Lead and motivate staff, delegate tasks, and address performance issues.
• Perform pre-opening and closing duties following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the restaurant.
• Monitor food presentation and quality, managing service recovery when necessary.
• Keep track of daily inventory and supplies.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with work schedules and administrative tasks.
• Aim to meet sales targets while controlling costs for labor and F&B supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
