Our client is an global powerhouse in the Events and Media Production industry with offices across the globe.They often times the pioneers in leveraging on technology and recently Ai in transforming the way we view face to face events.
Your Future Role :
They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager across seniorities to drive the sale of exhibition stands and sponsorship packages for their events regionally.
Your Responsibilities :
- You’ll be researching and prospecting for new business, taking on various approaches to finding and engaging key decision-makers and influencers to drive business;
- You’ll be setting up online meetings, phone calls and face-to-face meetings to better understand their challenges, to understand how our client events will make a difference to them, so you can put together a package to help them achieve their goals;
- You’ll be re-engaging winback clients and showcasing why our client's events is a great investment for them;
- You’ll be account managing your clients, building a lasting relationship with them and ensuring they have the best possible experience with us onsite;
- You’ll be rebooking clients for the following year’s event, helping underwrite the success of future editions.
Key Requirements :
You should have a minimum of 1 year’s sales experience, ideally in B2B event sales or a related field.Entrepreneurial MindsetCommercially-minded and understand buy-sell dynamics in a given market;Confident in sales meetings with senior staff from your prospect companies;Able to listen to clients, understand their needs, uncover their “compelling event” and match them to our offerings;An excellent communicator, with great written and verbal communication skills;Able to work independently and show initiative;Organised and methodical;Focused on delivering outstanding results for your clients;Comfortable working with technology.Whats in it for you :
