Job Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to maximize their potential and performance
- Identify and secure new business opportunities by targeting corporate clients, event organizers, and private individuals
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential opportunities
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of customized catering proposals and quotations to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their catering needs and preferences
- Ensure exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to guarantee client satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of catering events
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward targets providing regular reports to senior management
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head of Catering Sales, preferably in the catering, hospitality, or F&B industry.Knowledge of the Singapore catering market and industry trends is a plus.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales ordering software.Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents are welcome to apply.
