Role : Regional Business Manager (APAC)
Location : APAC (With regional travel as required)
Reporting Manager : Global Operations Director
As Regional Business Manager, you will lead AVTEL’s operations across the APAC region, overseeing the performance of multiple business entities through direct leadership of their Business Unit Managers. You will ensure regional operations align with AVTEL’s strategic and financial goals, with each entity delivering strong performance while maintaining operational excellence.
You bring strong commercial acumen and proven leadership, with a focus on driving results through others. Your role will be key to delivering exceptional service to our clients and fostering a high-performance culture across the region.
You are adaptable and proactive in managing change, with the ability to identify opportunities, address challenges, and support sustainable growth. As AVTEL’s primary representative in the region, you will act with integrity and professionalism, building trust with internal and external stakeholders alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of AVTEL’s strategic and operational objectives across the APAC region, ensuring excellent and consistent service delivery across all business entities.
- Oversee financial performance at both P&L and balance sheet levels within the region.
- Manage regional cash flow planning and participate in group-wide cash flow meetings.
- Lead the development and presentation of annual operational expenditure (Opex) budgets, with support from Financial Controllers.
- Prepare and present business cases (ROI) for proposed capital expenditure (CapEx), in collaboration with Financial Controllers.
- Analyse and report on quarterly financial results, providing clear explanations for variances and outlining recovery strategies where needed.
- Collaborate with other Regional Managers and the Operations Director to drive performance, efficiency, and alignment across the business.
- Work closely with shared service and support function leaders to meet regional financial and strategic goals.
- Provide strong leadership to regional teams, fostering engagement, performance, and career development.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and grow recurring revenue as a trusted partner.
- Review and challenge sales forecasts to ensure accuracy and reliability across the region.
- Contribute to the development of regional and global continuity plans to manage crises and operational disruptions.
- Act as the regional Incident Commander during crises, ensuring business continuity and a return to normal operations.
- Support the planning and implementation of group-wide quality assurance initiatives.

You bring 10+ years of experience managing businesses and delivering complex projects in the security integration industry, including subcontractor management and main contractor delivery models.You have strong commercial acumen, technical insight, and the ability to navigate change, manage risk, and align strategy with market realities.You understand international accounting practices and can clearly explain P&L and gross margin drivers at a regional level.You have hands-on knowledge of key security platforms such as Lenel, C-Cure, Milestone, and Verint, with a solid technical foundation in electronic security systems.You have operated across international markets and understand the nuances of leading in diverse regional contexts.You are a proven leader who motivates through empathy, provides clear direction, and supports the growth and development of others.You are approachable, customer-focused, and skilled in negotiation, with a reputation for acting with integrity.You have experience in people management, performance evaluation, and talent development in an international business environment.You communicate clearly and confidently, with strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.You are detail-oriented, organised, and value accuracy, accountability, and auditability.You are a self-starter who manages time and wellbeing effectively, even under pressure.You are committed to continuous learning, open to feedback, and always looking for ways to improve.You value relationships, lead by example, and foster a team-first culture.You’re decisive, able to resolve conflict, build capable teams, and address underperformance constructively.You hire based on merit, celebrate team success, and bring a strong will to win—for yourself, your team, and the business.Tell employers what skills you have
