Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to oversee the sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization of materials and components critical to medical equipment manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in procurement, expertise in supplier quality management, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, components, and services used in medical equipment manufacturing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Analyze market trends, conduct cost breakdowns, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies(e.g dual sourcing, inventory planning)
- Act as a liaison between the company and suppliers, particularly in China, to resolve critical supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to source materials that meet design and regulatory requirements.
- Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing new items and ensuring cost optimization and manufacturability.
- Drive initiatives and work cross-functionally to reduce excess stock and improve inventory turnover.
Key Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or related field). MBA / Supply Chain certification is a plus.8-10 years in procurement / sourcing, preferably in medical devices, pharma, or a highly regulated industry.Proficiency in supplier quality management. Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools.Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Proficient in both English and Mandarin is required.Tell employers what skills you have
