Summary : The Tender Quantity
Surveyor is responsible for preparing cost estimates and tender
submissions for construction projects. This role involves quantity
take-offs, pricing, and coordination with internal teams and
suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate tender
proposals.
(B) Essential Job
Functions : The Tender Quantity
Surveyor is responsible, but not limited to, the
following :
Prepare quantity take-offs
and cost estimates from drawings and specifications
Analyse tender documents and identify scope of
works
Obtain and evaluate quotations from
suppliers and subcontractors
Assist in
preparing complete tender submissions including pricing and
technical documents
Conduct rate analysis for
materials, labour, and plant
Liaise with
project teams, engineers, and procurement for pricing
accuracy
Maintain tender documentation and
cost databases
Attend tender briefings, site
visits, and post-tender clarifications when required
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the reporting
manager

Minimum Qualifications / Job
Experience :
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil, or related
field
2-5 years of experience in tendering or
pre-contract quantity surveying.
