Key
responsibilities :
Responsible for selection, training, mentoring &
scheduling of the pastry team
Ensure that all
recipes and product yields are accurately costed and reviewed on a
regular basis
New product development for a
variety of products for consumer or corporate clients
Ensuring that every product that leaves the bakery is to
the highest quality and standard
Ensure that
all food items and dishes are prepared according to standard recipe
whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
Ensure that inventories of consumable stock levels are at
sufficient quantity and quality in relevance to each outlet's
occupancy forecasts
Maintaining food hygiene
and safety standards as per company
policy
Job
requirements :
Have at least 2 years of experience in a
bakery
Have experience with chiffon
cakes
Team leader with the ability to manage
multiple priorities and work with members on tasks &
deadlines
Ability to bake high quality
products that are uniform and consistent
Creative, abreast of upcoming bakery trends and able to
R&D new items
Motivated and hard-working,
able to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and able to be proactive in the
workplace
Clean and organised (able to clean
as they go)
